Currently, the Lamborghini Sian is only available as a coupe, but The Supercar Blog claims that a roadster version is already in development.
- Production of the Sian coupe was limited to only 63 units, so don't expect more than 63 examples of the Sian Roadster to roll off the production line. According to The Supercar Blog, every example has already been sold before the Sian Roadster's public reveal. This isn't surprising because the Sian coupe was also sold out when it debuted last year.
- The Lamborghini Sian Roadster could potentially look even better than its coupe counterpart. Like the coupe, the styling will be inspired by the striking Terzo Millennio concept that debuted back in 2017. The Sian's 6.5-liter V12 will no doubt sound even more sublime with no roof, but the extra structural rigidity required to compensate for the lack of roof could affect the performance.
EXTERIOR
The Design DNA of Lamborghini is taken toi tspeak levels: inspired by the Countach, the Sián FKP 37 has sharp lines, aerodynamic eleganceand an unmistakable silhouette, Itstotally carbon fiber body leaves you breathless The electrochromic roof and movingsurfaces controlled by smart materialsare sculpted by innovative lines.
TheTerzo Millennio-inspired headlights leave behind an indelible luminous signature that willshape future Lamborghini design.
INTERIOR
Inside the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, luxurious Italiancraftsmanship meets state-of-the-art technologywith a cabin designed to provide a drivingexperience that combines adrenaline chargedacceleration with utmost comfort Additionally the passenger compartment featuresrecurring design elements that reflectclassic Lamborghini style, including Y shapedfeatures and hexagonal shapes, renderedtoperfection with meticulous attention to every detail
DYNAMIC DRIVING
The new sian FKP is a technological tour be forced, able to fire up incredible strong emotions. The most extraordinary innovation is the new hybrid system, which deliver maximum power with minimum weight. The innovative, lightweight mild-hybrid architecture uses a lithium-ion supercapacitor, which is three times more powerful than a battery of the same weight. It is a low-voltage 48V system, enabling peak current of up to 600A. Powered by this current, the electric motor delivers engine torque directly to the rear wheels, and during braking uses the inertia to recharge the capacitor. The electrical power flow is symmetrical, for the same efficiency during the charge and discharge cycles, without overheating.
With the sian FKP 37, a new autonomous technology is entering the automotive world. At the back of the engine hood are autonomous vent flaps actuated by smart materials that are temperature sensitive by nature. These flaps open independently when the temperature around the exhausts becomes too extreme, without the aid of electric controls and sensors, relying only on the thermal distortion of the material. With its carbon-fiber monocoque, titanium intake valves, active aerodynamic and rear-wheel steering, the Sian FKP 37 employs cutting-edge technology everywhere-not only in the world's first supercapacitor hybrid system.

AD PERSONAM
The car has been designed of offer the widest possible range of customization: from the exterior, which can be configured in fully exposed carbon fibre, with custom colors, shaded paintwork and specific liveries; to the interior, with special trim and an infinite number of combination of colors and materials. An innovative" touch and feel" leather is also available, specially developed for the Sian FKP 37, which is extremely pleasant to the touch.
PRODUCTION
Production of the Sián FKP 37 will be limited to 63 units and all have already been sold. Lamborghini's Ad Personam division will be responsible for the manufacture of the Sian. The car was officially unveiled to the public at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show configured in a unique "electric gold" paint. It was also renamed to be known as the Sián FKP 37 honouring late Volkswagen Group chairman Ferdinand Piëch. "FKP" are the initials of his name and "37" are the last two numbers of his birth year (i.e. 1937).
SPECIFICATIONSAND PERFORMANCE
Based on the Lamborghini Aventador, the Sián FKP 37 shares its engine with the SVJ variant of the Aventador, but an electric motor integrated into the gearbox adds another 25 kW (34 PS; 34 hp) to the power output. Other modifications to the engine include the addition of titanium intake valves, a reconfigured ECU and a new exhaust system raising the power output to 577 kW (785 PS; 774 hp). The total power output amounts to 602 kW (818 PS; 807 hp) making the Sián the most powerful production Lamborghini automobile. The engine is mated to a seven speed automated manual transmission[4] and the car employs an electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system with a rear mechanical self locking differential for improved handling.
Thepower for the electric motor is stored in a supercapacitor unit instead of conventional lithium ion batteries. The supercapacitor unit is integrated with the electric motor into the gearbox in order for a better weight distribution. Supercapacitors were chosen due to their ability to store three times the power of a conventional lithium ion battery of the same capacity. The unit installed in the car is an evolution of the Aventador's starter motor and can store ten times more power than the unit it is based on. A regenerative braking system helps generate enough energy to recharge the supercapacitors. The electric motor counters the effect of deceleration and provides a power boost to the driver at speeds up to 130 km/h (81 mph). The motor supports low speed maneuvers such as parking and reversing.
Theimprovements made to the car allow it to achieve a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time of 2.8 seconds and allow it to attain an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) but the official top speed is yet to be confirmed.
Overall, it's an exceptional model that impresses from the moment you see the box.
Itaddresses the shortcomings of the Porsche and Bugatti (the suspension and hidden mechanisms), provides a long, complex and immersive building experience, and looks absolutely superb on display. There are no stickers and you even get a small printed plaque to display with it.
